Movie tickets through SMS 
 
KOCHI: Vodafone Essar has launched a new service ‘SMS BALCONY’. Vodafone customers can now book their movie tickets by simply sending an SMS “BALCONY” to 52627. The service is charged at Rs.5/SMS. They will get the complete booking details via a response message. The service is currently available at 55 select theatres across the State, making it the most viable option for subscribers to book their movie tickets, three days prior to the actual show, said R. New textile showroom
KOCHI: Lamiya Silks, the Malappuram-based textile group, will open its new showroom here on August 17. The showroom, spread over four floors, will be opened by film actor Meera Jasmine. It will have exclusively designed items apart from those of well-known brands, according to Managing Director P.M.A. Jabbar.
